There are plenty of hedges, providing nesting sites for all sorts of birds; as a result, every year we see various birds building nests and a new generation of young birds hatching. This sometimes gives you the feeling of being in an aviary.

An environmentally friendly method of weed control has also been adopted, whereby weeds are treated with steam just a few times a year and herbicide spraying is never used. When the grass is mown, the clippings are left on the ground through mulching, which acts as a natural fertiliser for the grass.

No pesticides are used to repel insects, as they are essential for pollination and provide a food source for the many birds in the area. As a result, you may occasionally find a small spider or flying insect in your home. We ask for your understanding in this matter; we are keen to keep nature as intact as possible.
